Annual General Meeting

The 2006 AGM will be held on Thursday 27th April at 8:00pm.
All are welcome at the Cricket Club.
The meeting will be followed by and evening of fun garden related competitions.

Annual Show

Hurst Horticultural & Cottage Garden Society Show is held annually on Saturday before August Bank Holiday Monday.

The 93rd Annual Show on August 19th will be held in St Nicholas School and Willowmead Fields, School Road, Hurst. Completely under canvas with all the usual attractions on one site including the dog show, refreshments, music by the Trinity Concert Band, craft stalls, plants sales and raffle.

Free car parking on the field, show entry £1 adults, 50 pence for seniors and children.

Classes for Horticulture, Flower Arranging, Cooking & Preserves, Handicraft, Photography & Art, plus Children's, Young at Heart and Dog Show are listed in the schedules and will be available at the Hurst Village Shops from mid June.

A new book has been produced for this year's show, entitled "100 years of HH&CGS History Book". There are only 100 copies available, and will be available at the show at a price of £10 per copy.

Entry fees:

ADULT 50p per entry up to 10 entries. Further entries free. CHILD 20p per entry up to 10 entries. Further entries free. Entries close at 6pm on Tuesday 15th August No Late Entries Can Be Accepted

Membership

We do not have a membership but those interested and/or willing helpers are always welcome to join our meetings.
