The Hurst Village Society aims to preserve the nature and character of the village by means not least of which would be to oppose any planning application that may have a detrimental effect on the village. To do this we obviously need money, particularly if we were to find ourselves up against one of the larger corporate institutions.

We raise money at various events during the year but one of our major sources of income is through membership of the HVS. If you are already a member please remember to renew your subscription and if you are not yet a member please consider joining. Payment can be made by printing the membership form and completing the Standing Order form or by cheque made payable to the Hurst Village Society.

Please complete the membership form and give or send it to any Committee Member.

If you have any problems printing the form, then you might try this PDF version (see note below). Alternatively you can find a copy of the membership form in most Society newsletters or ask any Committee Member for one.

PDF is an acronym for "Portable Document Format". PDF is a file format created by Adobe that lets you view and print a file exactly as the author designed it, without needing to have the same application or fonts used to create the file. Since its introduction in 1993, PDF has become an Internet standard for electronic distribution that faithfully preserves the look and feel of the original document complete with fonts, colours, images, and layout.

Adobe® Acrobat® Reader is free, and freely distributable, software that lets you view and print Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files on all major computer platforms, as well as fill in and submit PDF forms online.
